New Milestone: The Glass Cube

We have reached a new milestone: the large glass panels have been installed at the APC office building. The cube presents a beautiful architectural eyecatcher. However, it is not without it’s challanges. To make this feasible in our local climate in Curacao, a special type of glass has been used. This will keep the temperature low and pleasant inside of the office. The office building consists of two wings with a size of 1,500 square meters. Both wings are connected to the central part of the building: The Glass Cube.

The construction of this modern office started in June 2019. But after several months, the Covid-19 pandemic caused huge construction backlog. However, after the construction was resumed, a lot of work has been done and great strides have been made. The following pictures were taken in the last week of August 2021, right after the glass had been added to the building.
