S8 Architects is looking for an enthusiastic new team member (intern or architect) to join our studio in Curaçao. Our studio works on a diverse range of projects throughout the Caribbean. We specialize in designing buildings and development plans that are carefully integrated into the urban context and surrounding landscape. We focus on new-build projects, restoration, renovation, and the transformation of existing buildings.
As an intern / (junior)architect, you will be part of our design team, working alongside experienced colleagues on a variety of projects. You will translate sketches and verbal instructions into drawings and 3D models, helping to develop projects from initial ideas through to further design stages.
At Studio 8, we primarily work with Revit BIM software, complemented by various presentation and visualization tools.
What we are looking for
- You are ambitious, proactive, and have a hands-on mentality;
- You have completed a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture / Building Engineering, or you are in the final stages of your studies;
- Relevant experience with Revit (important!), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office;
- Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- Ability to work independently;
- Able to work well under pressure and think in a solution-oriented manner;
- Possession of a valid Category B driver’s license.
